At NY Shelves, we design and manufacture fully custom kitchens for clients across New York, Long Island, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Our kitchens are built to order in our Long Island workshop and tailored to your exact layout, style, and functional needs. We work with homeowners, interior designers, contractors, and developers who are looking for durable, modern, and American-made cabinetry.

High-Quality Materials Made to Last

Every kitchen we build is engineered for long-term performance.

We use:
01

High-grade plywood for cabinet boxes — not particleboard or MDF cores

02

European soft-close hardware (Blum, Hafele, Salice)

03

Solid wood or premium MDF doors with professional finishing

04

Lacquer, veneer, or high-quality laminates

05

Custom anodized aluminum accents

06

Any color, any size, any configuration

Our construction is designed for daily heavy use, making it ideal for busy families, rental properties, and commercial environments.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to care for the shelf and how to clean it?

If you have ordered a metal shelf, you can use a cloth and any cleaning agent, including acetone. For other types of shelves, you can only use a dry cloth

How do I install the shelf?

The shelf will come with detailed installation instructions

What is included with the shelf?

Included in the box with the shelf will be a bracket and instructions on how to install the shelf. Screws and drills must be purchased separately based on the type of wall the shelf will be installed on

Can the shelf be installed outdoors?

Can the shelf rust over time?

Our shelves, unlike other metal shelves, will never rust because we only use anodized metal sheets

Is it possible to make a shelf of non-standard length and shape?

Yes. Inside the shelves are made of wood products and glued with metal sheet, so we can make the shelf almost any length and shape

What weight can the shelf support?

The weight that a shelf can hold will depend on the size of the shelf. For example, if the size of the shelf is 60×10×2, the shelf can hold up to 100 pound

What is your return policy?

Unfortunately we do not accept returns because all shelves are made after ordering and all have individual sizes

What is the warranty on the shelves?

If installed correctly and not exposed to excessive heat and moisture, the shelf will last a lifetime
